Aquatics
Cornerstone is currently interviewing potential Fitness Instructors to lead group exercise classes utilizing our new (coming September 1, 2007) in-water exercise bikes and treadmills, such as Aqua Spin, Circuit Training, and more. Individuals with previous experience teaching group exercise courses, even land-based courses, are preferred--particularly those with Spinning instruction experience. Candidates should be fit, energetic, outgoing, knowledgeable about exercise and physiology, and capable of coordinating exercise and music in an intense, fun manner.

We are constantly looking for outstanding aquatics professionals, particularly in the following areas:

• Lifeguards (American Red Cross certification required)
• Swim Instructors (WSI preferred)
• Water Fitness Instructors (AEA certification preferred)
• Advanced Course Instructors (Red Cross LGI, WSI Trainer, etc.)

Customer Service
We always have room for customer service professionals with a friendly, energetic presence, outstanding attention to detail, and a high level of maturity and responsibility.

• Supervision of our staff of approximately 35 lifeguards & instructors, including hiring and training
• Responsibility for water chemistry and filter operation
• Development of training programs
• Monitoring pool deck cleanliness, rule enforcement, safety, etc.
• Identifying and correcting needs in areas such as supplies, procedures, etc.

Our Aquatics Managers spend a substantial amount of time “on-chair” as a lifeguard and teaching swim lessons.

The position demands a flexible schedule and exceptional attention to detail. Successful candidates will demonstrate a strong sense of responsibility and maturity, as well as the ability to function as part of a cohesive team, and a willingness to do whatever is necessary to ensure that all of Cornerstone's aquatics operations are functioning smoothly.

Applicants must have valid American Red Cross Lifeguarding, First Aid, CPR, and WSI certifications. Red Cross Lifeguard Instructor certification and NSPF Certified Pool Operator certification are preferred but not required.
