Maintenance Shutdown
Cornerstone will be closed for maintenance from August 15 through August 28. In addition, the Lap Pool will be closed August 14 and may remain closed for a few days beyond August 28, depending on construction progress. This is our first maintenance shutdown in three years, and only our second shutdown in the past 10 years. To help you keep swimming, there are a few options for swimming during our shutdown.
Stroke Analysis with Underwater Video
Cornerstone now offers Video Stroke Analysis, featuring underwater video. For competitive swimmers, there is simply no better way to improve your stroke than to actually see your stroke with your own eyes--particularly from an underwater perspective. Our coaches will work with swimmers in one-on-one, hour-long sessions to identify areas for improvement in your stroke technique, help you make adjustments, and see the results. Our camera system offers immediate feedback--you can do a swim and immediately hop out on deck and review the film with your coach. To get a sense of the quality of our picture, and the details of your stroke you'll be able to see, play the video below (shot by our coaches using our camera).
